Today's water pollution concerns are more numerous than everfrom the presence of chloramines and endocrine-disrupting chemicals, to trace amounts of prescription drugs found in municipal water treatment facilities. Because of these concerns, NSP felt the need to upgrade its popular RO water treatment unit. When it comes to removing inorganic compounds from water, reverse osmosis is second to none. By adding one more filtration stage as well as tripling the size of our filters, we have vastly improved the purification power of Nature's Spring RO. - Stage 1: Water passes through a 5-micron carbon/sediment fabric pre-filter where larger suspended materials (like sand and rust) are trapped.
- Stage 2: Water flows into the solid-block carbon filter, which is three times larger than the old filter, giving your water more purification time. This breaks down dangerous chloramine molecules.
- Stage 3: Your treated water flows into a pressure vessel containing the 8-foot-long reverse osmosis membrane, which is wound around a central collection tube. This semi-permeable membrane allows water to pass while rejecting contaminants, which are simultaneously washed down the drain.
- Stage 4: A second carbon filter ensures absolute purity from metals, chlorine and other chemicals.
Improvements to the RO System include: - A more efficient RO membrane-gives you 35 gallons per day!
- Carbon filters are three times larger than the old filters, so your water is in contact with the carbon longer and is that much cleaner. And now there are two of them!
- A new automatic timer tells you when your filters need to be changed.
The Nature's Spring RO water purifier can be used on all potable municipal water supplies, regardless of pH or chlorine levels. For great-tasting, high quality drinking water you can trust, invest in a Nature's Spring Reverse Osmosis System today. Your peace of mind is worth it!
