Intuitive Counseling - Psychic Development Training

In the Intuitive Counseling Practitioner training program our focus will be sifting from working on health and healing levels to exploring the mental, emotional and spiritual issues that can interfere with our client’s ability to be at peace and experience wholeness in their lives.

Earlier in this training program, we investigated how to work with energy, where we learned how to look at, evaluate, and manipulate it. In this unit, we will be taking these concepts one step further, where we will be asking one of the most important questions: “Why?”

Now, students will have the opportunity to uncover, explore, and transform the persistent problems their clients may be experiencing intuitively through the use of a number of different reading techniques, including reading the aura, meridians, past lives, tarot cards and remote viewing.

By tapping into their inner wisdom, they will learn how to bring information from the unconscious into consciousness. They will find out how to recognize and validate the messages they are picking up and discover how easily and effortlessly they can tap into their spiritual guidance while performing intuitive counseling sessions.

Hosted by Dr. Rita Louise, these inspiring teleconferences are designed to support students in their studies by providing them with an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and receive additional training tips and techniques.

Since the courses were designed to build upon each other (and are not inclusive), basic concepts or required procedures may be found in earlier learnings as opposed to the materials in hand.

Course Descriptions

Establishing Professional Boundaries: 6 hours, $100
In any business, there are a number of items that should be considered in advance, so if a situation presents itself, you will have already planned for it or created a policy regarding it. By establishing an operating policy, you will be able to let your clients know what you expect from them. It also creates a clearly defined boundary – a professional boundary.

Subtle Energy & Emotion: 6 hours, $100
Traumas that happen as a child develops can greatly influence his or her behaviors and self-perception as an adult and can affect their ability to create healthy, lasting relationships. By learning to identify patterns of blocked self-expression in the body, students will develop a clearer understanding of the various personality types and their corresponding energetic imbalances.

The Mind/Body Connection: 6 hours, $100
The concept of subtle energy has been around since the most ancient of times. The movement of this energy through the body is believed to have a direct effect upon our state of health and well-being. In this course, students will discover the relationship between their thoughts and emotions, the movement of subtle energy in the body, and the manifestation of dis-ease.

Accessing Beliefs & Emotions: 6 hours, $100
Our beliefs and emotions are intangible aspects of ourselves. They lack form and substance in the same way an organ, a bone or even a chakra has form and substance. In this lesson, students will explore how to access the beliefs and emotions that are stored in the mental and astral bodies, as well as develop an emotional vocabulary to use in their intuitive counseling sessions.

Developing A Spiritual Business III: 6 hours, $100
In Developing A Spiritual Business II, students learned about the importance of promotion and how to market and advertise their Healing Arts Practice. In this hands-on course, students will have the opportunity to define and refine their business even further by designing a business card, a one-page flyer or tri-fold brochure, and a print ad to support their new healing arts practice.

Remote Viewing: 12 hours, $200
First developed by the government in the 1970’s, Remote Viewing is a data collection skill, where the viewer gathers information about things and events that lie outside his or her normal awareness, intellect and five senses. In this lesson, students will learn specific strategies for providing information about a place, object, person or activity without any prior knowledge of the “target” or item they are exploring.

Divination: Experiencing The Tarot: 12 hours, $200
The term “Tarot” is applied to a deck of seventy-eight cards that can be used for spiritual exploration, practical problem solving, creative visualization, meditation and self-improvement. The tarot, however, is most popularly known as a tool of divination and fortune telling. In this course, students will learn how to perform tarot readings for clients, where they will discover how to utilize these cards as a tool to gain insights into their clients’ lives.

Subtle Energy Assessment II: 18 hours, $275
In the last module, students learned how to evaluate the subtle body including the aura, chakras and energy channels. In this lesson, in addition to looking at the energetic structures within the body, participants will learn how to open themselves up to exploring mental and emotional implications that underscore energetic disturbances in the body, causing them to manifest.

Looking At Issues In The Aura: 18 hours, $275
The aura is a reservoir of information that can be accessed intuitively. It records all our life experiences, our thoughts and feelings; and, like a mirror, it reflects our current physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. By learning to read the aura, students will find out how to tap into the wealth of information we carry around with us daily.

The Meridians & Emotions: 15 hours, $250
The meridians are the invisible channels which circulate qi, or life force energy, throughout the body. In Chinese medicine it is said that the meridians mirror the nature of the human experience. In this lesson, students will focus on the mental and emotional manifestation or implication of disorders in the meridians.

Evaluating Relationship Dynamics: 9 hours, $150
Humans are social creatures. As social creatures, we are designed to create interpersonal relationships with others. A relationship reading explores the dynamics between two individuals, be they husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, parent and child. In this lesson, students will discover how to successfully evaluate a relationship.

Reading The Energy Of The Hand: 9 hours, $150
The hand is said to represent the owner and symbolizes his or her life and character, where an individual’s temperament, strengths, weaknesses, talents, traits, life events, skills, abilities and motivations can be assessed. In this course, students will discover the art and beauty of palm reading by learning to read the energy of the palm and hand.

Exploring The Past: 9 hours, $150
Many of us have experienced meeting someone for the first time, and for some unknown reason, the person seemed strangely familiar to us. Perhaps you knew them in a past life. Just about every culture has, as part of its teaching, a belief in past lives and reincarnation. Here, students will learn specific techniques for exploring their own past lives, as well as the past lives of others.

Professional Certification - Intuitive Counseling Professional: 6 hours, $100
Professional Certification verifies mastery of a specific set of knowledge, skills or abilities. It indicates that the individual is qualified to perform a job. In this lesson, students will have to opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work with and evaluate subtle energy in the body.

Certification for the training offered by the Institute of Applied Energetics is granted through the National Accreditation and Certification Board.
